Reviews
I ate at this place today. I've probably eaten here at least a half dozen times in all. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal or service here. Today, one of my sons ordered the "Three Amigos" fajitas. The meal that was served looked just like the photos posted here and there was plenty of shrimp. He loved it. My other son had the "Pancho Villa Quesadilla" and he thought that was very good as well. I think I had the a steak fajita salad. I'm sorry I can't remember the exact name. I'll try to update this review later with pictures. It was served with a side of chipotle vinaigrette that was just amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. I loved this meal! I'm not up on alcohol prices in the local area. I ordered a Dos Equis lager on tap and was surprised that it was only $3.99 for a 32oz 'mug' (more like a jug, actually). Wow, that's a great price. I'll need a designated driver the next time I come here! I've never understood why there are so many negative reviews for this place. Perhaps I've just been very lucky but I don't think so.
Came last night to watch the Falcons game (because taco Mac across the street was full). It was my first time at this twisted taco location and it surely won't be the last ! We sat on the patio outside. Our server was attentive and fast in bringing our drinks and putting in our orders. Upon seating, they bring chips and salsa. I got their 2/$9.99 tacos. I chose fried avocado and boom boom shrimp with a side of fries. Both were delicious, juicy and flavorful. You can choose the normal corn tortilla or lettuce wraps. I really wanted to try them with the wraps but forgot to ask! Their margaritas are delicious too! (Could def use more alcohol in them). I ordered the Annie Oakley (one of their most popular) & my sister ordered Jimmy buffet (pineapple and coconut). We then ordered a pitcher of the Annie Oakley ($28.99 about 8 cups).
Deals on deals on deals! This place has got deals for dayzzzzz. Each day there is a different item (or items) sold for a special price. I recently came here on a Friday and they have a deal for 2 tacos for $5.99. The tacos are very yummy and they have a wide variety of them! They have all different kinds of meats and different options for tortilla (flour, white corn, even lettuce wrapped!). The biggest deal they have on Fridays (and Saturdays) is a 25 oz margarita for $4.99! That's a big deal and a great way to end the week if you ask me ;) One thing I think can be improved is the appetizer guacamole. The first couple bites I took were good but after that the salt started weighing the entire taste down. Towards the end I felt like I was just licking a salt lick. Hey fam! Do you 'gram? We actually ended up here because the place we planned on going was packed and we didn't want to wait. It's been a while since we've been here. I'm glad we came back. It was $4.99 Burrito or Burrito bowl night. My daughter and I had the Burrito bowl with grilled chicken and steak. It had plenty of meat and rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce and other things. The portion size was big enough that we both took half of our order home. The flavor was great and it was delicious. My son had a steak burrito and enjoyed it thoroughly. We all were very pleased that we had come here and will be back again soon.
Vegan Friendly Review: Twisted Taco serves an array off Mexican American cuisine. I like it because use they have vegan options options. I usually go with the Cuban Tacos which includes sweet plantains, black beans, rice, and cilantro. I replace the roasted pork with tofu to make it vegan. These tacos are always filing and tasty. Twisted Tacos has good drink specials and is a solid spot for tasty tacos.
